Virtual Exchange (VE)

The U.S. Africa Institute is a strategic partner to offer faculty exchange programs, joint research activities, and professional development through Virtual Exchange (VE) platforms. In collaboration with a number of U.S. and African academic institutions, the potential for impact through Virtual Exchange (VE) is largely untapped and promises to be significant and transformational.  Several universities and colleges have partnered with the U.S Africa Institute to implement these experiential learning opportunities in collaboration with African Universities, namely Addis Ababa University, African Development University, Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and University of Juba, just to name a few of the prospects. We have a number of U.S. universities active in this partnership, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) that are looking at opportunities in Africa with intense interest.
